PUYALLUP, WA — A day after heavy rains and high winds forced city parks to be closed, Puyallup police announced Tuesday that all but two of the parks have reopened.

Police officials that all of the parks — with the exception of Wildwood Park and the Riverwalk Trail — have reopened for public use. Police said on social media on Tuesday that Wildwood Park and Riverwalk Trail would remain closed to allow crews to pick up debris caused by Monday’s inclement weather.

Police credited city crews for the speed at which they were able to clear debris from other park locations to allow the sites to reopen.
