Construction Project Will Close 5th Street Overnight This Week
The City of Puyallup says Sound Transit contractors will need to close the road to install new utilities and work on a pedestrian bridge.
PUYALLUP, WA — Drivers with a late-night commute will want to avoid 5th Street NW this week as crews will be closing a stretch of the road overnight for construction work.
According to the City of Puyallup the road will be closed between W Main and W Stewart from 8 p.m. to 5 p.m. the nights of Oct. 11, 12, 13, and 14.
During the closure, contractors working for Sound Transit will be installing new utilities and continuing construction on the pedestrian bridge to the new parking garage.
