Because the crash occurred off the side of the road, troopers did not need to close any lanes of I-5 for their investigation. However, traffic was briefly interrupted to allow a tow truck space to haul the wreck away.
Please slow down and move over as you approach this scene! It is dark, it is raining, and the road is wet ⚠️ Please keep first responders, tow truck operators, and media representatives at the scene safe! pic.twitter.com/DqmhmEDpLw
