Ferrucci classrooms are clean and dry. Water damage from last week’s flooding has been dried out. However, district maintenance crews are still working to ensure good air quality before students and staff return.
In an effort to ensure a healthy working environment, school district officials are contracting with specialists to continue scrubbing all air in the building. All indoor air will be filtered and ushered out of the building using industrial quality fans and ventilation systems.
For Tuesday, September 10, Ferrucci Junior High School will remain closed. On Wednesday, September 11 classes will be held for students either at Ferrucci or another school in the Puyallup School District.
