Have You Seen These Coasters Around Puyallup?

May is Puget Sound Starts Here Month, and Puyallup residents are invited to help keep Puget Sound and local waterways clean.

According to Puget Sound Starts Here, the water and everything else that goes into storm drains goes straight to creeks, rivers, lakes and Puget Sound without any treatment.

Puget Sound Starts Here is a local campaign started by the STORM group (Stormwater Outreach for Regional Municipalities). This group includes staff from local cities and counties working together to leverage their resources, share ideas, and develop new projects to educate our citizens on the importance of stormwater pollution prevention and how each person can make a difference in saving and restoring Puget Sound.

Throughout May, local businesses in Puyallup have joined with the Puget Sound Starts Here campaign to help spread the word.
