 Although this month is an opportunity for students to learn about and honor the many achievements of black Americans, our teaching and learning recognizes the rich cultural heritage, triumphs and adversities of all races - black Americans, Hispanics, native Americans, and Asians.  This month as we reflect on black history in schools, we will continue to strive to make our schools inclusive, safe spaces where all students identify and excel.
