Puyallup Summer Concert Series Returns To Pioneer Park

A family concert series kicks off Thursday and tribute acts will return to Pioneer Park weekly through August. Here's what to know.

PUYALLUP, WA — Concerts in the Park is back for another season at Pioneer Park, hosted by Puyallup Parks & Recreation, and there's a full slate of performers scheduled each week through the middle of August.

The family series of concerts kicks off each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and features seven acts this year, starting with Kalimba, an Earth, Wind & Fire tribute band, and concluding in August with Paperback Writer, Disneyland's Beatles tribute band. A separate kids series, "Noon Toons," also got underway this week at Pioneer Park and will bring live entertainment to youngsters each Tuesday through Aug 16.

  • July 7: Kalimba (Earth, Wind & Fire tribute)
  • July 14: Whiskey River (Lynard Skynard tribute)
  • July 21: Cherry Cherry & Main Street (Neil Diamond and Bob Seger tribute)
  • July 28: BroHamM (Motown hits)
  • Aug. 4: Atomic Punks (Van Halen tribute)
  • Aug. 11: Brickhouse (Kings of Disco)
  • Aug. 18: Paperback Writer (Disneyland's Beatles tribute)

Noon Toons (Tuesdays at 12 p.m.)
