Ring a Bell, Light a Life: Share Love and Hope with Families This Christmas

Help us bring Christmas joy and year-round hope! Ring a bell in the final 10 days to support children and families in East Pierce County

Imagine a child, facing crisis, opening a gift on Christmas morning and feeling truly seen, known, and loved. Or a family breaking free from the cycles of poverty that have held them for generations, finally able to hope and thrive. Or a person with special needs finding a place where they are known, loved, and given worth when so many other doors have been closed to them. That’s the power of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle program — and you can be part of it.

Every shift spent ringing a bell helps bring hope and joy to 350 local families and 1,200 children, giving them personal Christmas gifts and letting them know they are seen, known, and loved. And the impact doesn’t stop at Christmas — your efforts support programs that reach over 56,000 people in East Pierce County throughout the year. Each ring of the bell sends a message of care, compassion, and community.

This year, record-breaking rain and flooding have made it harder to raise funds, with many volunteers unable to ring and fewer shoppers out at the stores. As we enter the final 10 days of the season, we still need to raise $42,413.15 to meet our goal and continue providing hope to those who need it most.
