Satellite Image Shows Massive Snowstorm Over Washington, Oregon
It's the storm that dropped up to 15 inches of snow south of Seattle.

The National Weather Service has released an incredible satellite image of the massive snowstorm that is causing chaos in the metro Portland area.
The photos shows just how close the Puget Sound area came to getting dumped on. The storm dropped between 8 and 15 inches of snow in the Portland area. Parts of southwestern Washington got hit, too.

Transportation officials were warning Portland-area residents to just stay home on Wednesday as the city digs out from the storm.
