Suspect In Puyallup Standoff Arrested
Wednesday, deputies left a standoff with a domestic violence suspect without making an arrest. Thursday, they came back with a warrant.

PUYALLUP, WA — The Pierce County Sheriff's Department confirms that deputies have arrested the suspect from Wednesday's standoff in Puyallup.
In that incident, deputies had been called to 2200 block of 120th Street E, on reports that a man had threatened a family member with a gun. Once they arrived, however, the suspect barricaded himself inside the house and refused to leave, the Sheriff's Department said.
Starting at around 10 a.m., surrounding roads were blocked off, and the public was asked to avoid the area. That is, until 11:15 a.m., when deputies withdrew. The Sheriff's Department says they were unable to contact the suspect, and decided the best course of action was to simply leave and investigate the incident further.
