WSP Seeks Puyallup Drive-By Shooting Suspect
Troopers said a driver fired a gun at another vehicle after a crash early last Friday.
PUYALLUP, WA — State troopers are looking for anyone who may have seen a drive-by shooting in Puyallup last week or recognizes the SUV detectives believe was involved. According to Washington State Patrol, a gray Dodge Ram and a black Scion crashed at the intersection of State Route 171 and State Route 167 early Friday.
Troopers said the Dodge pulled over and stopped, then the driver of the Scion drove to the passenger side, brandished a handgun, and fired a shot into the truck's quarter panel before continuing north on SR 167.
Detectives said the exact year and model of the Scion could not be determined, but it was described as having tinted windows and a frame similar to models from 2007. Damage from the crash should also be evident on the vehicle's driver's side.
