• King, Snohomish communities get $5M for traffic safety (seattletimes.com) — Redmond is receiving $300,000 in new federal safety funding to quickly add traffic calming, midblock crossings with flashing beacons, lane reductions, and two roundabouts downtown and in the southeast part of the city. The grant is part of a broader $5.4 million Safe Streets and Roads for All package for six cities in King and Snohomish counties aimed at cutting serious crashes and fatalities.
   

• Washington High Schools 2025 Academic State Rankings (newstalkkit.com) — Redmond’s own Tesla STEM High School has been named the top high school in Washington and ranks 18th in the entire nation, according to U.S. News. The statewide list compares schools on college readiness, test performance, underserved student outcomes, curriculum breadth, and graduation rates, giving local families a useful benchmark for how area schools stack up.
