Redmond City Council To Host First Neighborhood Conversation

From the City of Redmond: On March 30, 2017, City Council will host the first Neighborhood Conversation of 2017 at Rockwell Elementary, located at 11125 162nd Ave. NE, Redmond, from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. These forums are a casual and convenient way for residents to interact with their elected leaders. Each meeting is held in a different part of the city, and they are open for residents to direct the topics—whether it’s a neighborhood issue or the vision for Redmond.

“The Neighborhood Conversations are a great way for residents to voice their concerns and questions directly with Council and the Mayor. We look forward to hearing from you and discussing what’s going on in the neighborhood and around the city,” stated Council President Hank Margeson.
This forum will be held in the school gymnasium at Rockwell Elementary in the Education Hill neighborhood. Community members can connect with their neighbors and elected leaders, learn about City projects, and write down questions for Council or City staff. There will be a reception at 6:15 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Council will answer questions, discuss current projects in the neighborhood, and listen to ideas and thoughts from the community.

This meeting is “kid-friendly” and light snacks will be provided.
