Redmond's Historical Tapestry: Preserving Chinese American Legacies
To honor our roots and the Chinese Community To showcase our resilience and contributions To inspire all for a prosperous future Redmond

The Chinese community at Redmond WA, has shaped the growth of Redmond in various ways over the history. Yet, many of these stories remain untold, fading with time. Redmond Historical Society (RHS) and Little Masters Club (LMC) are partnering together to address this by launching the Redmond WA Chinese Heritage Project.
With support from Society staff and volunteer, we plan to cover the following areas:
- Early Chinese Residents and immigration
- Chinese American Businesses
- Contributions to the Tech Industry
- Artists & Poets
- Politics, Culture & Religion
We will bring to life the rich and often untold history of Chinese Americans and Americans of Chinese descent in Redmond as a multimedia Digital Exhibit, to allow the public to explore and learn from these stories, similar to redmondhistoricalsociety.org/digital-exhibits.

We will also look for opportunities to share history in the community and will study the feasibility of temporary exhibits, or the potential for a visual heritage wall to bring history to life in a way that is both inspiring and engaging.
Stay updated as we take on this exciting and challenging journey. This history belongs to us all. We will continue to make positive impact to Redmond community.
