1 Dead In Lake City Hit-And-Run, Police Searching For Driver
A man has died after a hit-and-run in Seattle's Lake City neighborhood late Tuesday night, now police are trying to find the escaped driver.
SEATTLE — One man has died after a hit-and-run crash in north Seattle Tuesday, and the driver who caused his death is still on the loose.
Officers first reported the accident over Twitter, just before midnight Tuesday.
Detectives are investigating a fatal hit and run collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of 30 Ave NE/NE 127 St. Please avoid the area if possible.

According to police, the crash happened in the 3000 block of 127th Avenue Northeast, just off of the 522 in Seattle's Lake City neighborhood.

Around 10:45 p.m. a witness called 911 after finding a man lying in the street and seriously injured. Seattle Fire Department medics arrived shortly after the call, but pronounced the 58-year-old man dead at the scene.
Police say evidence from the man's body and surrounding area suggest he was hit by a car, and they have called in the Traffic Collision Investigation squad to research further. Police are asking anyone who may have seen the crash or who has any information on the incident, to call them at (206) 684-8923.
