Body Found At Seward Park, Police Investigating
Detectives say they're investigating the case as a potential homicide.

SEATTLE — Police are investigating after a runner stumbled upon a corpse near Seattle's Seward Park early Thursday.
According to the Seattle Police Department, the witness had been out on a morning jog when they found an unresponsive woman near where Lake Washington Boulevard meets South Orcas Street, just outside of Seward Park proper.
When officers arrived, they quickly determined that the woman was dead, and that her cause of death was likely a homicide.

Police have not released a description of the victim or any information on what may have led them to that conclusion.
Homicide detectives have since been called in and are investigating the case. Police are asking anyone who may know more or may have seen anything suspicious in the area to give them a call at their tip line, (206) 233-5000.
