"I don't know a Democrat alive who's closing any door right now," Inslee said.

SEATTLE, WA – As head of the Democratic Governors Association, Gov. Jay Inslee is focused on trying to help his party increase the number of states that his party leads. There are currently on 16 states with Democratic governors.
At the same time, is Inslee looking to the future? Say, two yeas down the road?
Appearing on CNN's "New Day" on Tuesday morning, Inslee pointedly refused to dismiss the possibility of a presidential run. Get all the latest information on what's happening in your community by signing up for Patch's newsletters and breaking news alerts.

As host John Berman tried to pin Inslee down, he kept deflecting, focusing on the midterms, saying Democrats are feeling "bullish" and letting the president know "uou can't stop us."
Inslee has been raising his profile this year, often in the context of criticizing the president.
In a February meeting at the White House, Inslee told President Trump that, "we need a little less tweeting here and little more listening."
Inslee has also been critical of Trump's trade policies. China is Washington's biggest trading partner.
If he were to toss his hat in the ring, it's expected that he'll have a lot of company.
There are at least a dozen people being mentioned as potential candidates including Joe Biden, Michael Bloomberg, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, and Elizabeth Warren.
