Cold Nights Ahead, But A Warm Weekend On The Way: WA Weather
If Western Washington can tough out a few chilly mornings, meteorologists say it's likely to be rewarded with a warm weekend.

SEATTLE, WA — It's been feeling a lot like spring the last few days, so of course the weather had to go and throw a wrench into our week.
After a calm and pleasant start to the week, meteorologists with the National Weather Service are warning residents to prepare for a pair of chilly, foggy mornings.
The latest forecast says to expect a foggy, cold morning Thursday. A light low level flow will cause areas of fog to build up in all the usual places starting sometime after midnight.

Temperatures are expected to dip below freezing for much of Puget Sound, with early morning lows in the upper 20s and mid 30s.
Fortunately, despite some early morning low clouds, Thursday is expected to be largely sunny by mid-Morning, and it will stay that way with a high in the upper 40s or mid 50s.

Areas of fog are developing this morning, especially across the South Sound. Some locations have dipped below freezing, so there could be some pockets of freezing fog. Keep this in mind for the morning commute. #wawx pic.twitter.com/suOYaNIuWw

If that doesn't sound too bad, well you're in luck because Friday is much the same. The National Weather Service says to expect another night of freezing or near freezing temps with lows in the upper 20s, followed by a mostly sunny day with highs in the mid 50s.
Its only when the weekend rolls around that things get really interesting, with most models predicting that Saturday could be western Washington's first 60 degree day.

Alas, once Saturday has passed the heat won't be sticking around. The following 24 hours will bring a new system into the region, and forecasters say to expect rain Sunday followed by scattered showers Monday and Tuesday.
