LAKEWOOD, WA — The Lakewood Police Department is hoping someone out there knows more about a deadly stabbing last weekend.

According to a release from the police department, just after 1 a.m. Saturday morning, Lakewood Police officers were called to the Oaktree Food and Drink on Steilacoom Boulevard Southwest.

When they arrived, police say they found a 31-year-old man in the parking lot with severe stab wounds. Medics were called to treat the man, but he died shortly afterwards.

After speaking with several witnesses and checking surveillance footage, police say they believe the man had been in some sort of fight or altercation with three other men inside the Oaktree— which spilled out into the parking lot where the man was stabbed.

Investigators say they believe the three suspects may have visited the nearby Steilacoom Pub before coming to the Oaktree, and at least one claimed to be a member of the military. After the stabbing, all three fled in a lifted black Ford truck with blacked out accessories, police said.
