The City of Lakewood is inviting the public to ring in the fall season with a free festival Saturday, Oct. 9.
LAKEWOOD, WA — The City of Lakewood is celebrating the start of fall with the return of its annual Truck and Tractor Day next weekend, and everyone is invited.
The festivities begin at noon on Saturday, Oct. 9 at Fort Steilacoom Park. The city says attendees can expect all sorts of seasonal activities including hay rides, food trucks, pumpkins, pumpkin decorating, even a pumpkin slingshot!
WSECU will also be providing one free pumpkin to visiting families, while supplies last. Basically, if you can image it, and it involves a pumpkin, it will be there.

Of course, it wouldnt be a truck and tractor day without trucks.. and tractors, and there will be plenty of those as well. The City of Lakewood says kids will be invited to explore dozens of giant trucks and other vehicles, and can even check out the driver's seats and honk the horns.
The event is free, as is parking, and everyone is welcome to attend.
