Months After Cat Stomped To Death, WA Owner Hopes To Find Killer
The owner of a Washington shelter still has hopes that she will find the person who squashed a one-year-old cat's head.

SHORELINE, WA -- Months after a one-year-old shelter cat was stomped to death, the Washington owner still has hopes she will find the killer. April Brown, the founder of Whiskey City animal rescue, this week launched a website detailing evidence of the abuse the cat, Quixote, suffered during the September incident.
Brown wrote on the GoFundMe page, "Justice for Quixote," that police are still unsure who broke into the Shoreline shelter to kill the cat in mid-September. She uploaded graphic photos of the deceased cat whose skull was demolished during the attack.
"It is disturbing and violent and heart wrenching," Brown wrote. "But we need help solving the crime and find this killer."

Brown wrote on her website that the suspect entered the shelter around 3 a.m. Sept. 19 and used bolt cutters to open Quixote's enclosure.
"Quixote could not escape. He retreated under his chair. The killer repeatedly stomped at Quixote connecting and missing. The stomping was so violent he broke a chair leg. He stomped Quixote's skull so hard his eyes popped out. Quixote was left for dead," Brown wrote.
