Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With 13-Year-Old Driver: Report
Tacoma police shut down Portland Avenue for several hours Sunday night to investigate the collision.
TACOMA, WA — A motorcyclist has died after his bike slammed into another vehicle late Sunday evening in Tacoma. According to a report from The News Tribune, the driver of the other vehicle was a 13-year-old girl.
Tacoma Police first reported the crash shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday, saying it happened on Portland Avenue, between E 28th St and E 30th St.
Shortly after arriving on scene and closing the roadway, officers confirmed that one person had died. The road was closed for several hours before reopening shortly before midnight.

According to the Tribune's reporting, the fatality was the motorcyclist, who had been traveling south on Portland Avenue when another vehicle pulled onto the road in front of him. The man then hit the passenger side of the car.
Inside that car, was a 13-year-old girl in the driver's seat, and a 42-year-old woman in the passenger seat, The News Tribune reported. Both were uninjured.

No arrests were made, though the incident remains under investigation.
