Seattle Bartender Attacked After Asking For Vaccine Proof: Police
A suspect attacked the employee of a Pioneer Square bar with a sharpened broomstick Monday evening, Seattle police said.
SEATTLE, WA — A customer allegedly attacked a Pioneer Square bartender who asked for proof of vaccination, police said.
The incident took place on Monday at a bar in the 500 block of King Street, police said.
Witnesses called 911 at 5:15 p.m. and said the suspect attacked the bartender with a "sharpened broomstick." Medics treated her for a laceration to her face.

Officers were unable to locate the suspect while searching the area, and police believe the person may have left the area on a light-rail train.
