SPD Blotter: Detectives Investigating After Woman Shot In Greenlake Robbery

Robbery Detectives are investigating after a 58-year-old woman was shot and wounded in a robbery in the Greenlake neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses called 911 to report a 58-year-old woman had been shot in the 2300 block of North 65th Street at 1:35 PM Tuesday.

Police quickly arrived and provided medical assistance to the victim for an apparent gunshot wound to the stomach. Seattle Fire Department Medics transported the woman to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

Witnesses told officers the woman was on the street when the suspect robbed and shot her. Robbery detectives are now investigating. This post will be updated as more information becomes available.
