SPD Blotter: Detectives Investigating Ballard Shooting

Detectives are investigating after a man was reportedly shot early Friday in a Ballard parking lot.

Around 2:40 AM police were called to the lot in the 7000 block 15th Avenue Northwest.

Police found a man on the ground, bleeding from his abdomen, and provided medical aid until medics arrived and transported him to Harborview Medical Center.

Witnesses in the area said they’d heard shouting in the parking lot, followed by gunfire. The 57-year-old victim then yelled he had been shot.
