Toddler Shot, Taken To Tukwila Fire Station: Police
The 3-year-old child was taken to the hospital, where they remain in critical condition, according to a report.
TUKWILA, WA — A toddler is in critical condition after they were shot and taken to a Tukwila fire station, according to authorities and a report.
Tukwila police said officers were called to Fire Station 53 around 9:30 a.m. Friday after receiving a series of 911 calls in which a female could be heard screaming in the background.
Officers arrived at the station in time to see a car flee the scene, police said. Officers then found the 3-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound and took the child to the hospital, where they remain in critical condition, according to a Seattle Times report.

An investigation revealed the child was likely shot at a residence in the 12000 block of 46th Ave South, said. The toddler was then taken to the fire station by a family member, who remained there and traveled with the child to the hospital.
