Breann McKenzie of Ridgecrest Selected as WSECU Teacher of the Week

Breann McKenzie, special education teacher at Ridgecrest Elementary, has been chosen as a Teacher of the Week by the Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU). She will be honored at the Seattle Mariners game on Sunday, Sept. 23 and receive a $500 classroom grant.

Breann was nominated for the award by a parent and is among 24 teachers being honored by WSECU and the Mariners this year. She has taught in Shoreline Schools since 2002 and at Ridgecrest since 2006.
