Ridgecrest Neighborhood Association Garden Program and Plant Exchange

Outdoor garden projects will soon be getting under way.  Please pot up your extra plants as you divide and thin out your garden.
We will have a plant exchange from 6-7pm for neighbors to trade plants with each other.  We will offer a selection of native plants, trees and shrubs for sale for a small donation.  Seattle Tilth will be presenting “Edible Gardening”, a program that shows how to create raised beds, safe materials to use, soil selection, edibles in container gardens and how to incorporate edibles (fruits and vegetables) into existing landscapes.  Material and plant suggestions, plus trouble-shooting tips will be included.

There will be community information tables hosted by Washington Native Plant Society, Washington Toxics Organization, Shoreline Backyard Habitat Program, Shoreline Gardener's Club and  Diggin’ Shoreline.

Coffee and cookies will be served and there will be DOOR PRIZES.
