The City of Shoreline will again host the second annual Veterans Day event in the Lobby and council Chambers at City Hall on Fri, Nov. 11 begining at 2 p.m.
All Shoreline Veterans, their families, and neighbors are invited to attend. The purpose of this event is to recognize the men and women who have given their service to our country. The emphasis this year will be directed towards the younger veterans who have borne the brunt of recent service. Information as to the breadth and extent of assistance available to veterans by our own Shoreline Community College will also be provided.
Following the program light refreshments will be available for all attendees at no charge (the entire event is free) and ample time will be available for discussion with your friends and neighbors.
