King's Hires New Volleyball Coach
Jeff Fransen replaces Steve Bain who led Knights to two 1A state titles

Kingβs High School has hired Jeff Fransen to the position of head volleyball coach. Joining Kingβs, Fransen inherits one of the stateβs most successful high school volleyball programs. Kingβs holds state championship titles for 2008 and 2009, with a second place finish in 2010, and a third place finish in 2011.
Coach Fransen is well-known in Kingβs athletics and the Kingβs community, as both of his children are students at Kingβs and his daughter played a prominent role for the Knights volleyball team for four years. Fransen comes with years of experience coaching numerous select teams and through involvement with Kingβs feeder teams, has developed many of the program's top players from a young age.
Prior to coming to Kingβs, Coach Fransen served as an assistant volleyball coach for Washington State University and went on to build a volleyball program at Northshore Christian Academy. Most recently, Fransen has served as the Technical Director for the Washington Volleyball Academy.
