Lake Forest Park Salmon BBQ to Benefit Special Olympics

Local Special Olympians will benefit this Sunday, as the Lake Forest Park Police Department and Police Guild hold a salmon barbecue at the Lake Forest Park Farmers Market.

The barbecue will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at the Farmer's Market in front of City Hall,  17425 Ballinger Way NE. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children.

The menu includes grilled salmon, garlic bread, potato salad, ice cream, and choice of soda or water, according to the city of Lake Forest Park. There will also be a raffle with items donated from local businesses. The Grand Prize will be a pair of tickets to the 2013 Apple Cup.
