• Shoreline receives $4.4 million EPA grant to establish Shoreline Reuse Center (shorelineareanews.com) — Shoreline has secured a $4.4 million EPA grant to build a new Shoreline Reuse Center, giving residents and businesses a one-stop hub to donate, buy, repair, and repurpose goods. The center will include a salvaged building-materials store, tool library, and community bike shop, and directly advances the city’s Climate Action Plan by cutting waste and emissions.
   

• Are you Connected? FCC-Licensed Radio Operators still needed for Shoreline neighborhoods (shorelineareanews.com) — Shoreline’s neighborhood emergency radio network still needs FCC-licensed operators in Echo Lake, Highlands, Innis Arden, Crista, and Meridian Park to keep residents connected when 911 and cell service fail. Licensed hams are asked to monitor 442.825 MHz and check in Mondays at 7:30 p.m., helping report local damage and share information on water, food, and shelter during major storms or earthquakes.
