Patch: Where do you get your flowers from?

Jill:Β They're grown in the U.S. by different farms. We try to get some flowers locally but there's not too much in season at the moment. We buy from around the U.S. sometimes in California, sometimes in Florida.

Patch: What are some non-traditional flowers that people buy for Valentine's Day?Β

Jill:Β People order orchids people for people that don’t like traditional roses. Gerbera Daisies come in variety colors, orange, yellow, pink, white, red.

Patch: How should you care for your flowers once you get them home?

Jill: Keep them in purified water, and we include flower food which is a dry mix. Right when you get the flowers cut them under running water or do a clean cut and put them directly in water after that.

Golden Bow is open weekdays and on Valentine's Day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. They deliver locally in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park and other surrounding communities.Β
