Save Richmond Beach to Celebrate Legal Victory Jan. 8, Discuss Next Steps

Event slated for Innis Arden Clubhouse at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8

Save Richmond Beach and Woodway will celebrate their legal victory in November whenΒ Judge Dean Lum ruledΒ that the developer’s Point Wells Urban Center application was not legally vested and stopped Snohomish County from processing it further.Β Β 

All interested parties are invited to come celebrate this victory and hear an update on Point Wells, hosted by the board members of Save Richmond Beach on January 8th, 2012 at theΒ Innis Arden ClubhouseΒ from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

While the first round went to Save Richmond Beach, the developer Blue Square Real Estate and Snohomish County have already appealed Judge Lum’s ruling.Β  At this meeting Save Richmond Beach will discuss the impact of the ruling, and provide thoughts on what will likely happen next during the appeal process.

Save Richmond Beach will also provide a brief update on some recent work we have done with the City of Shoreline.Β 

Carla Nichols, the mayor of Woodway, and Zach Hiatt, the attorney for Save Richmond Beach will be on hand to answer questions.
