Second Annual 4-Corners Brewfest on Tap for Sat. Aug. 11

4-Corners BrewFest runs from 3-7 p.m. on the patio and grass behind the Innis Arden Clubhouse at 1430 NW 188th St.

The second annualΒ 4-CornersΒ BrewFestΒ will be held on Saturday, August 11th from 3-7 p.m. on the patio and grass behind the Innis Arden Clubhouse at 1430 NW 188th St.

Once again, the lineup of brewers atΒ 4-CornersΒ BrewFestΒ looks to be outstanding. Last year,Β Big EΒ AlesΒ took home the coveted Golden Growler with its Orange Creamsicle Ale. In 2012, the defending champs will be back as well as crowd favoritesΒ American Brewing,Β Diamond KnotΒ Craft Brewing,Β SilverCity Brewing,Β Emerald City Beer Company,Β Lantern Brewing,Β Naked City Brewing,Β Fremont Brewing,Georgetown Brewing,Β Gallagher’s Where-U-Brew, andΒ Two Beers Brewing.

This year’s lineup also includes newcomersΒ Lazy Boy Brewing,Β Hilliard’s Beer,Β Schooner EXACT Brewing,Brickyard Brewing,Β 192 Brewing,Β Elliott Bay Brewing,Β Reuben’s Brews,Β 7 Seas Brewing, andΒ Pike Brewing. All told, twenty local craft brewers will be featuring over 40 delicious ales, lagers, porters, and stouts.

4-CornersΒ BrewFestΒ is a fundraiser for the Shoreline neighborhood associations ofΒ Hillwood,Β RichmondΒ Highlands,Β Richmond Beach, andΒ Innis Arden, with all proceeds going back into the community. Thisyear, an equal percentage of the proceeds will also be donated toΒ New Beginnings, a shelter for those affected by domestic violence.

Tickets are currently on sale for $30 atΒ Brown Paper TicketsΒ or in personΒ atΒ Beach House GreetingsΒ (626 Richmond Beach Road). Your ticket gets you: ten 5oz tastes from 40+Β beers, a souvenir glass, free food from local Shoreline restaurants, grilled brats, and more. A limitedΒ number of designated driver tickets (food and soft drinks only) are also available online for $15.
This year’s music will be provided by the Shoreline Bluegrass All-Stars, a loose collection of accomplished local pickers and jammers.

Space is limited so it’s a good idea, and cheaper, to get your tickets early. Tickets at the door, if available, will be $40.

4-Corners.Org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered with the Washington State Charities Program.
