Shorecrest Boys Whip Shorewood in Basketball Playoff Game, Stay Alive

Shorecrest beat Shorewood 58-41 on the T-birds' home court, eliminating them from the 3A District 1 boys basketball playoffs Feb. 14 in a crosstown Valentine's Day showdown.

Led by Emmanuel Chibuogwu Jr.'s 21 points and 10 rebounds and Keith Shattuck's 19 points, Shorecrest rode a big second half in which it outscored the T-birds 39-19 to earn the win.

Shorecrest advances to play Ferndale on Friday at Mountlake Terrace High School.
