The Shorecrest girls basketball team started off the 3A District playoffs with a 49-42 home win over Everett Thursday night led by Bri Lasconia and Janie Uppinghouse, who scored 15 points apiece.
Uppinghouse knocked down four 3-pointers to key the win.
Shorecrest will host Meadowdale at 4 p.m. Saturday for a berth in 3A District 1 title game.
