Shorecrest Girls Place Second in Wesco 3A Divisional Track Meet

Glacier Peak dominated the Wesco 3A League girls track and field meet at Shoreline Stadium that concluded Friday, but Shorecrest placed second and Shorewood third.

Shorecrest won six events, led by Nicole Harris' wins in the 300-meter hurdles (44.73 seconds) and long jump (16-feet, 11-inches).

Other Shorecrest winners were Aiko Mizumori-Canfield in the javelin (130 feet, 1 inch), Amanda Banks in the 200-meter dash (26.69 seconds), Kathryn Andria-Habermann in the 400-meter dash (59.64 seconds) and the 4x200-relay team (1:46.69)

Shorewood's winners were Charity Ijiomah in the 100-meter dash (12.65 seconds) and Alaina Olson in the high jump (5-feet).
