Shoreline Council to Vote on City's Latest Offer to Settle O'Neill vs. Shoreline Case

Light Rail also on agenda as study item

The Shoreline City Council will vote Monday night on whether to approve anΒ offer of Judgment in O’Neill vs. City of Shoreline, a case of first of impression nationally that made it a requirement to be supply computer metadata when requested as part of a public records request.

The city has tried to settle the suit with Doug and Beth O'Neill, which was filed in 2006, but so far the O'Neills have not taken any the offers thus far. See the link above for details.
