Shoreline Police Blotter: Free Methodist Church Sign Repainted to Read "FREE METH"
The following blotter items range from Aug. 9, 2012 - August 12, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

August 9
VANDALISM: A man heard a noise in his yard in the 400 block of N. 200th St. on Aug. 7 around 2 a.m. The next morning he found four of the stakes in his picket fence had been broken off. Since then he has had two more stakes broken off sometime overnight.
HIGHWAY ROBBERY: Three people jumped a guy outside Goldieβs Casino, 15030 Aurora Ave. N. and took $350 from him. He did not wish to assist in prosecution.

ROBBERY: A female was sitting a bus stop in the 300 block of Richmond Beach Road listening to music on her iPhone when someone twisted her wrist and grabbed her phone.
ATTEMPTED SUICIDE: A guy tried to kill himself by taking caffeine pills in the 18000 block of 15th Ave. N.E. He was transported to Northwest Hospital.

PROSTITUTION, PIMPING: A prostitution arrest was made at N. 185th St. and Aurora Ave. N.
VANDALISM: The church sign at Shoreline Free Methodist Church, 510 N.E. 175th St., was spray painted to read, βFREE METH.β
August 10
A PAY PHONE REALLY?: Someone made the effort to drill out the lock on a pay phone at Home Depot, 1335 N. 205th St.,Β and took coins.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Someone broke the front door window and entered the Dank Tank glass shop, 17028 Aurora Ave. N.
VANDALISM: An unknown female suspect upset about an illegally parked car in the Safeway parking lot, 17202 15th Ave. N.E., intentionally hit the other parked vehicle, a black SUV, with her car door as she entered it resulting in a small scratch on the passenger side door.
August 11
VANDALISM: Someone smashed the front windshield of a vehicle parked in the garage of the Artiste Apartments, 20200 Aurora Ave. N.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Someone broke out a window pane in the roll-up door on the southwest corner of Dougβs Northwest Cadillac, 17545 Aurora Ave. N., entered and took computer equipment.
BURGLARY: Someone pried open the locked back door of an apartment at Colonial Gardens in 14800 block of 15th Ave. N.E., and stole jewelry and name brand purses.
August 12
TRESPASSING: A person was forced to leave Big Lots, 15403 Westminster Way, for shoplifting.
THEFT: Someone stole an iPod from the apron pocket of a female at Safeway, 17202 15th Ave. N.E.
