Shoreline Police Blotter: Man Lures 15-Year-Old Girl Into Home, Tries to Kiss Her

August 2
STALKING/HARASSMENT: A person in the 19500 block of Forest Park Drive reported that someone had spray painted a racial slur and profanity on a garage door.
VANDALISM: Someone spray painted the word "C*ck" in green on the driver's side rear door panel of a vehicle in the 1500 block of N.E. 196th St.

VANDALISM: Someone spraypainted the word "b*itch" and "blue waffles" on passenger side of a man's vehicle in the 19200 block of 15th Ave. N.E.Β
VANDALISM: Someone threw rocks through one of the stained glass windows on the east side of City Calvary Chapel, 15211 15th Ave. N.E.

FORGED PRESCRIPTION: Someone presented a prescription for methadone to a pharmacist at Costco Pharmacy and the next morning it was confirmed to be forged.
CHILD LURING: A man lured a 15-year-old girl into a home in the 17300 block of Dayton Ave. N. and attempted to kiss her.Β
BURGLARY: Someone stole a dishwasher from a vacant home for sale in the 17500 block of 8th Ave. N.E.
August 3
DUI WARRANT AND PERSON WITH WEAPON: A man was arrested for a DUI warrant in the 2200 block of N.E. 201st Court. His friend approached police with a loaded handgun in his pocket. Both men were booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
FRAUD: A woman in the 17800 block of 1st Ave. N.W. was checking her bank account online and noticed a change made on July 31st that she did not make, a $485.02 charge to Zales.com
MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A guy was at his therapist's office in the 1000 block of N.W. 177th Place and had suicidial thoughts and a nervous breakdown. A bed at Overlake Hospital was arranged for him to seek treatment.
PRESCRIPTION STOLEN: A resident at the Blakely Apartments, in the 1100 block of N. 192nd St., was away receiving care at nursing home when someone entered her unit and stole only a bottle of approximately 110 hydrocodone tablets.
BURGLARY: Someone took a guitar and camera from an unlocked apartment in the 17500 block of Linden Ave. N. The serial number on the camera was given to police.
VANDALISM: Someone threw a rock into a car's rear windshield at the Brierwood Apartments in the 18000 block of Midvale Ave. N.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Someone broke the knob on a rear door and entered Aqua Quip, 16350 Aurora Ave. N. and took a cash drawer with about $300 inside.
August 4
BURGLARY: Someone burglarized an apartment in the 14800 block of Whitman Ave. N. and took electronics and alcohol.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Someone entered the Church of Latter Day Saints, 14901 30th Ave. N.E., by breaking out office door windows and broke into cabinet drawers.
