Shoreline Police Blotter: Man Makes Unwanted Sexual Advances Towards Housekeeper

JULY 20

VANDALISM:  A man told police that he parked his recently purchased red Infinity in front of the lumber entrance doors of Home Depot at 1335 N 205^th Street.  After shopping, he went outside to find that someone poured coffee onto the sunroof of his car.

VANDALISM:  A person in the 17300 block of Stone Court North reported that juveniles threw eggs at a neighbor’s home.  The kids were eight years old.

FAMILY DISTURBANCE:  An immigrant Russian family sought help from Shoreline Police.  The family was fearful of their husband/dad who they said was abusive.  Emergency shelter was provided for the family.

JULY 21

PROSTITUTION, PIMPING:  A woman was in a car with a man nearby N 152^nd Street and Aurora Ave.  Shoreline Police made a traffic stop only to find the prostitute and the client “in a meeting.”

HAD BEEN DRINKING:  Two females in the 1200 block of N 173^rd Street caused a disturbance when one person alleged the other person cheated with one of their boyfriends.  One person was sent to detox.

MARIJUANA SMOKING:  A person was found at the Highlands Ice Arena (N 182nst Street and Aurora Ave) smoking pot.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:  A female had a cut to her head in a domestic violence situation at Linden II Apartments, 14500 block of Stone Ave N.  Someone assaulted the female with a belt and broke a phone when she tried to call 911.

JULY 22

VANDALISM:  A man threw his cell phone at a car after a bar fight at the Drift on Inn Casino.  The owner of the damaged car was not involved in the fight at 16708 Aurora Ave N.  This happened at approximately 1:56 a.m.

MORE TROUBLE AT DRIFT ON INN CASINO:  At 3:03 a.m. Shoreline Police found one person in the parking lot of 16708 Aurora Ave North unconscious as a result of a fight.  The bad guy fled on foot and threw some marijuana as he ran. Someone was taken to Harborview.

AUTO THEFT:  A car was stolen from the 14800 block of 15^th Ave NE, on the property of Colonial Gardens Apartments.

LARCENY:  There was a disturbance at Leena’s Café, 17732 – 15^th Ave NE.  During this disturbance a bad person took advantage of the distractions by dining and dashing. Bad choice in choosing not to pay the bill.

ASSAULT:  Fourth degree assault happened when a man made unwanted sexual advances towards his housekeeper in the 20100 block of Richmond Beach Drive.

ATTEMPT AT SUICIDE:  A man in the 18000 block of Aurora Ave took 32 pills in an attempt to take his own life.  After he swallowed the pills he called 911.  He was transported to NW Hospital.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON(S):  Bandido MC members were seen riding through Shoreline on their motorcycles in the 17500 block of Aurora Ave. 

JULY 23

ELUDING POLICE:  A person was pulled over for expired tabs and equipment violation nearby N 175^th Street and Midvale Ave.  The driver hit the gas and ran through two stoplights.  The police did not pursue this driver for the minor offense. 

AUTO THEFT:  A ‘97 black Nissan Maxima was stolen from a repair lot at 1116 N 165^th Street.
