Shorecrest loses to Mount Vernon, plays Glacier Peak in loser-out game today
Shorewood, behind the pitching of sophomore Sam Boone, knocked off Glacier Peak 3-1 in the first round of the 3A District 1 baseball tournament, Monday.
Boone scattered six hits to get the complete game victory at Glacier Peak, propelling Shorewood into the semifinals.
The T-birds face Mount Vernon at 4 p.m. today at Sherman Anderson Field in Mount Vernon. The winner of the game plays the winner of Mountlake Terrace and Meadowdale at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12.
