Shorewood Boys Swim Team Cruises Past Shorecrest

Shorewood beat Shorecrest, 102-81, in boys swimming at Shoreline Pool, Thursday afternoon for its 14th straight victory over the Scots, according to T-birds' head coach Scott Kelley. 

The T-birds were led by double winners Jonah Hoverson and Anders Blomso.

Hoverson took first in the 50-yard freestyle (23.72 seconds) and 100 freestyle (53.27 seconds). Blomso won the 200-yard freestyle (1 minute, 56.33 seconds) and 500 freestyle (5:11.85).

Shorecrest's 200 freestyle relay team of Russel Gorves, Michael Doquilo, Axel Wickstrom and Carter Osborne won that event in a 3A state qualifying time of 1:33.76.

200 Medley Relay: Shorewood, 1:46.95 (Davis Harford, Trevor Crooks, Adam HIll and Andrew Garrison).

200 Individual Medley: Carter Osborne (Shorecrest), 2:05.73.

Diving: Jack Beam, Shorewood, 230.35.

100 Butterfly: Galen Kintner, Shorewood, 58.45.

100 Backstroke: Carter Osborne, Shorecrest, 59.66.

100 Breaststroke: Trevor Crooks, Shorewood, 1:08.95.

400 Freestyle Relay: Shorecrest, 3:30.61 (Russel Groves, Michael Doquilo, Axel Wickstrom, Carter Osborne).
