Shorewood Doubles Duo Earns No. 1 Seed to State 3A Tournament

Shorewood's Cameron McDowell and Stuart Schachle won the District 1 doubles championship by defeating Chris Sato and Nick North of Shorecrest 6-3, 6-2.

The T-Birds qualify as a No. 1 seed at the WIAA 3A State Tennis Tournament. The tournament will be held next May during Memorial Day weekend in Kennewick, Washington at Kamiakin High School.

Shorewood's Logan Keebler placed 6th in singles but did not qualify for the state tournament.
