Shorewood Girls Tennis Team Sweeps Shorecrest in Singles to Win Meet

T-birds hand Scots first loss, improve to 5-1

Shorewood's singles players swept the Shorecrest opponents in straight sets to earn the teams fifth straight victory in a week.

This improved their first place record to 5-0 while Shorecrest dropped to 3-1.

The match of the day was in number three singles where Marija Feller was down 1-5 in the first set and rallied to win six straight games and take the set 7-5, according to Shorewood coach Arnie Morenno.

She then defeated her opponent with a 6-1 second set. They play Lynnwood at home next Monday March 26th at 3:30pm.
