• Fire inside Silverdale orthodontist suspected as arson, arrest made (kitsapsun.com) — A late-night fire at Johnsonlink Orthodontics on Bucklin Hill Road in Silverdale is being investigated as suspected arson, and a Bremerton man was arrested at the scene. Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue and sheriff’s deputies responded near the Silverdale library branch, and the blaze caused extensive damage to part of the building. No further injuries were reported. 
• Kitsap Transit to purchase up to 19 new ACCESS buses (kitsapdailynews.com) — Kitsap Transit is moving ahead with major accessibility and infrastructure upgrades that will affect riders countywide, including those using the Silverdale Transit Center’s inductive charging model. The agency approved buying up to 19 new ACCESS buses for seniors and people with disabilities and advanced work on the Ruby Creek Park and Ride and a new heavy-duty maintenance facility in Poulsbo.
