Bothell Teen's Death on I-405/NE 160th: State Patrol Seeks Witnesses

Washington State Patrol detectives said in a news release they are seeking witnesses to a death of a pedestrian on August 17, 2013 on I-405/NE 160th St.  

Investigators believe the victim, a 16-year-old male identified as Lukas Defiesta, fell or jumped from the NE 160th St. overpass around 4:40 a.m., landing on one of the right two lanes on I-405. Evidence indicates that after landing on the freeway, he was struck by several passing vehicles. 

Anyone who may have observed the victim, who was wearing pants, tennis shoes, a black sweatshirt with large headphones or believe they may have struck an object in the area during the above time is urged to call Sergeant Detective Stacey Moate (425-401-7745) or Detective Greg Wilcoxson (425-401-7746).
