• FIFA Video Game Tournament and Futsal Bring Young Players to Rainier Beach (southseattleemerald.org) — A Woodinville family’s 11-year-old son traveled daily to school in Rainier Beach and recently returned home with a JBL speaker after winning a FIFA video game tournament there. The free event combined gaming and futsal to introduce more South Seattle youth to soccer and build excitement ahead of Seattle’s 2026 World Cup matches.
