Burglar Found Hiding Behind Dumpster – Woodinville Crime Report
Here is a list of some of the reported crimes in the City of Woodinville from July 22-29, 2013.

1. Larceny - 18600 blk of Woodinville-Snohomish Rd.
The victim reported her car window smashed out and her purse stolen from the front seat. Shortly after the report, Duvall PD arrested a suspect in possession of the victim’s purse. Several purchases had already been made on her credit cards. This case is being investigated by Duvall PD with charges pending.

An unknown suspect stole the victim’s iphone from her shopping cart while she turned her back.
3. Larceny- 14200 blk of NE 193rd Pl.

The victim reported his car window forced open and his wallet stolen from inside.
4. Identity Theft – 13100 blk of NE 177th Pl.
Unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s debit card number to make a purchase at a Macy’s store in Arizona.
5. Vandalism – 15000 blk of 148th Ave NE.
The victim reported the driver of a motorcycle cut her off in traffic and then stopped in the middle of the road. He then approached her car and smashed the driver’s side mirror while screaming profanities at her.
6. Hit & Run - NE 145th / Woodinville-Redmond Rd.
Officers responded to a report of a hit and run and found the suspect vehicle trying to leave the scene. The driver was found to have a suspended license and a warrant for his arrest. He was booked into jail with charges pending.
7. Larceny -18400 blk of 151st Ave NE.
Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked van and stole multiple handheld construction tools.
8. Attempt Auto Theft -14700 blk of NE 177th ST.
The victim found a piece of a shaved metal key stuck in the door lock of his vehicle however did not report the incident until a few weeks later when they saw two suspects attempting to steal mail in the area. The attempted theft of the car occurred the same evening as a reported residential burglary.
9. Possession of Stolen Property - 13900 blk of NE 178th Pl.
Witnesses reported a suspicious female trying to hide behind a dumpster. She was contacted and found to have two laptop cases in her possession. While interviewing the suspect, a car prowl report was dispatched saying a GPS was stolen from an unlocked car and an ID card belonging to the female suspect was left behind. Multiple stolen items from car prowls and a Bothell burglary were found in her possession and returned to their owners. The suspect was booked into jail with charges pending.
10. Attempted Commercial Burglary– 13000 blk of NE 177th Pl.
Unknown suspect(s) attempted to pry open the coin safe between the cement walls of the washing bays but activated the alarm before they could gain entry.
11. Vandalism - 13000 blk of NE 177th PL
The victim reported the rear window of her car broken out however nothing was stolen.
12. Larceny – 14800 blk of NE 195th St.
Unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s work tools from his unlocked van which had been parked in his driveway.
13. Misdemeanor Warrant- NE 174th / 131st Ave NE
During the concert event at Wilmot Park, vendors reported a male suspect panhandling for free alcohol inside the beer and wine garden. He was found to have an outstanding warrant and booked into jail.
14. Forgery, Credit Cards- 14300 blk of NE 145th St.
The victim reported her purse stolen from the employee break room after receiving notice her credit cards had been used to make several unauthorized purchases from the Wal-Mart Stores in Marysville and Everett. Another employee at the restaurant also had cash stolen from her purse while working.
15. Residential Burglary- 18200 blk of 142nd Ave NE
The victim reported his apartment burglarized while he was out of town but had left his daughter home to housesit. The adult daughter claims she left the home unlocked for a couple of hours while she ran errands, at which time a handgun, ammo, electronics and a safe were stolen. The Woodinville Detective is investigating.
